About Tonga Post Services
Tonga Post Limited was incorporated as a public enterprise on July 1, 2008, after being registered under the Companies Act on April 10, 2006. The Government of Tonga is the sole shareholder. A Board of Directors oversees the corporation and reports to the Minister of Public Enterprises. Tonga Post, which represents the Kingdom of Tonga, is a member of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Asia and Pacific Postal Union (APPU).
The company’s headquarters have moved to a new facility on Vaha’akolo Road in Vaololoa. The General Post Office is located on Salote Road and Taufaahau Road in Nuku’alofa, although there is also a post office counter at the Vaololoa location. Vaololoa is home to the printing department. The Printing Services department can be reached at 21-700 or 23-465, with hours of operation from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Monday through Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays, the Nukualofa location’s sales counter is open.
